Out-of-Town Woman Arrested after Selling Magazines in Greenwich without a Permit

On Wednesday Greenwich Police responded to the area of 64 Halsey Drive on the report of a possible scam where a subject is selling magazine subscriptions.

Officers located a woman matching the provided description in the area. After a brief interview on scene it was determined that the subject, identified as Vivian Wilson of 898 Walnut Street in Cincinatti, OH, 32, had made a sale to an area resident, but did not have a valid Tax Permit to be soliciting.

Wilson was subsequently arrested and charged with Illegal Sales without a Tax Permit and Soliciting Without a Permit.

Wilson was unable to post her set bond of $1,500 and was held in Greenwich Police custody. She has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Sept. 16, 2015
