One Adult and Two Juveniles Charged for Locust St Burglary from a Vehicle

police stationOn Sunday Feras Halabi, 19, of Fairfield was arrested along with a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old at about 1:00am after a witness observed three males on Locust St in central Greenwich entering into his neighbor’s vehicle and then proceed toward Wilbur Peck Court. Police located the three males at the intersection of Davis Ave and Le Grande Ave, sitting down at the curb.

According to Greenwich Police, the witness positively identified the three as those who were within the vehicle, and upon further investigation two of the suspects were identified as juveniles. The lone adult, Halabi, was arrested for Conspiracy to Commit Burglary in the 3rd degree and Criminal Attempt at Burglary in the 3rd degree.

The 17-year-old was arrested for two counts of Burglary in the 3rd degree and interfering with an officer. The 16-year-old was charged with two counts of Burglary in the 3rd degree.

Halabi was assigned a bond of $1,500, which he was not able to post. He is schedule to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Monday, Sept. 29.
