Old Greenwich Man Faces Multiple Drug Charges Including Operating a Drug Factory

On Wednesday Greenwich Police executed a search seizure warrant on the east side of town, where a target of the investigation arrived in a vehicle driven by a friend.

Upon being detained, a search incident to the warrant for the vehicle resulted in seizure of suspected marijuana, THC wax and paraphernalia.

The search of the suspect resulted in the seizure of suspected marijuana/THC wax and a smoking pipe.

The search of the residence resulted in the seizure of approximately 132 Xanax pills, a controlled substance.

The accused, Christopher Daniel Romeo, 22, of Midbrook Lane in Old Greenwich was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to Sell, Possession of Marijuana Less than 4 oz, Possession of Marijuana within 1,500 ft of a School, Operating a Drug Factory, Possession of Controlled Substance within 1,500 ft of a School, Possession of Controlled Substance WITS within 1,500 ft of a School.

Mr. Romeo was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on March 14, 2018. He was able to post his $500 bond and was released.
