Numerous Charges for Driver of Disabled Vehicle

Greenwich Police responded on Sunday night to a report of a disabled vehicle in the area of Hillside Rd and Fairfield Rd.

Around 8:30pm, police said the vehicle was located near the intersection of Stanwich Rd and Fairfield Rd, and that the driver related the vehicle was inoperable due to mechanical issues.

Investigation determined that the vehicle had an improper registration plate, along with no insurance coverage.

Additionally the driver, Trevor Montez Malcolm Curry, 30, of New haven, was determined to have a suspended license.

He was charged with Improper Use of Marker, Illegal Operation of Motor Vehicle without Minimum Insurance and Illegal operation while Under Suspension.

His bond was set at $1,000 which he was unable to pay. He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on October 7, 2024.

Additionally Mr. Curry had an outstanding warrant for was Failure to Appear 2 in court in Derby, CT. That court appearance stemmed from an arrest on motor vehicle charged by Orange Police Dept back on Dec 11, 2023. Bond was set at $5,000 and he was assigned a date in Derby on Sept 23, 2024.
