The North Street Pharmacy in the Banksville Shopping Center was burglarized at approximately 4:00am on Tuesday.
According to Greenwich Police Lt Patrick Smyth, three hooded suspects, also wearing masks, broke the glass with a crowbar and entered into the store and then headed directly to the pharmacy section.
Lt Smyth said it was unknown at this time what specific or how many drugs were taken.
“This is an ongoing issue in the tri-state area where a group(s) target smaller ‘Mom & Pop’ independent pharmacies,” Smyth added.
