Niklas LaBorne was born in Greenwich. He graduated from Greenwich High School in 2014 and then went on to graduate from UCONN in 2021 with a Bachelor’s in Political Science.
LaBorne has been a per diem EMT with Greenwich EMS and is a volunteer firefighter with the Cos Cob Fire Police Patrol (CCFP).
As a member of the CCFP, he was recognized as Patrolman of the Year in 2018 and received the Cecil H. Gardner Memorial Distinguished Service Award.
Officer LaBorne will attend the Stamford Police Academy. Upon his return later this year, he will continue his training with 16 weeks of field training before he can work independently.
