In Aug 16 Greenwich Police investigators responded to Stamford Superior Court to take custody of a Newark, NJ man who was wanted by warrant for Larceny 4 and Identity Theft 3 in Greenwich.
Jaden Cruz, 21, was wanted subsequent to a financial crime investigation that took place on April 23, 2021.
Greenwich Police Captain Zuccerella said Mr. Cruz was with a group who were trying to pass fraudulent checks at a bank on lower Greenwich Ave.
“Bank employees called us and the ORCA (Organized Retail Criminal Activity Team) unit responded and were able to follow the subjects after they left the bank and get patrol units in the area to stop them,” he added.
