Multiple Charges for Greenwich Woman after Child in Her Care Suffered Serious Injuries

Greenwich Police arrested a local woman by warrant on March 6 for outstanding charges relating to an event last October on Dingletown Road.

Police say Maria Martinez-Aguilar, 25, of Greenwich turned herself in to police after being notified of a warrant for her arrest.

The arrest stemmed from an incident on Oct 11, 2022 where a child in her care suffered serious injuries.

Martinez-Aguilar was charge with Intentional Cruelty to Persons, Risk of Injury to Child, Interfering with Officer/Resisting and Assault 1st degree.

Her bond was set at $750,000 which she was unable to post. She was held for her court appearance in Stamford Superior Court on March 27, 2023.
