On Friday, March 15 around 7:00pm, Greenwich Police received a report of a dispute in central Greenwich.
Investigation determined that the accused, Rupert Texeira, 50, of LeGrande Ave in Greenwich was involved in a physical fight with another person causing minor injuries. Further, he allegedly threatened the victim. The incident took place in the presence of minor children.
Texeira was charged with Risk of Injury to a Child, Disorderly conduct, Assault 3, Threatening 2, Unlawful Restraint 1. His bond was set at $1,000 which he was unable to post.
Teixeira has a date in Stamford superior Court on March 18, 2019.
