Milford Man Charged after Sending Threatening and Harassing Texts and Voicemails to Greenwich Family

Greenwich Police charged a Milford man for allegedly sending threatening and harassing texts and voicemails to a Greenwich family.

After being told to stop all communication, the suspect, Manuel Aranda, 40, continued to contact the family and an arrest warrant was issued.

According to the criminal information summary, Manuel Aranda, 40, was a relative of a man who had been hired as a contractor to work on the family’s home in Belle Haven.

GPD Lt Martin O’Reilly, the suspect’s father had worked for the family in the past and was looking for money.

Aranda was detained by the Milford Police on May 5 and transported to Greenwich where he was charged with Harassment 2 and Threatening 1.

Aranda’s bond was set at $50,000, which he was unable to post. He is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on May 20.
