Men Busted in Greenwich Town Hall Parking Lot Admit to Having Used Heroin

Greenwich Police say they were contacted by a source who, over several weeks had witnessed what they believed were nearly daily hand-to-hand transactions in the Greenwich Town Hall parking lot.

On Sept 1, around 12:45pm the Narcotics Section conducted surveillance of the parking lot and spotted vehicles matching the descriptions provided by the source.

Investigators spotted three people meet and observed that one person was manipulating white wax folds while seated in a vehicle.

According to the arrest report, police said, “Investigators knew through training and experience that the white folds were consistent with how heroin is packaged for street sales.”

Narcotics investigators stopped the car, and located two men within. Brian T Danzi, 46, of Henry Street in Greenwich was the driver and Lukasz Mozaryn, 39, of Port Chester was the passenger.

Police say both men admitted to having just used heroin.

Empty white wax folds and a syringe were located and seized as evidence.

Mr. Danzi was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance first offense.

Mr. Mozaryn was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Danzi and Mozaryn share a date in Stamford Superior Court on Sept 15, 2021.
