Around 7:00am on Memorial Day, a passerby reported to a Greenwich Police officer that they had spotted a man walking north on the train tracks toward Greenwich train station.
When police arrived they spotted the man who later identified as Quadele Vickers, 19, of Derby, CT, walking on the tracks.
Vickers pulled himself up onto the train platform on the New Haven side.
He later admitted to having walked on the train tracks.
On scene officers also observed a pocket knife that was secreted in his waist band. The knife was determined to be spring loaded such that the blade could come out by pressing a button.
Vickers was charged with Trespass on Railroad Property and Carrying a Dangerous Weapon.
His bond was set at $500, which he was unable to post. He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on June 14, 2021.
