Man Known to Greenwich Police Charged on Multiple Warrants

Greenwich Police responded to a private residence in Riverside on June 29 to serve three active warrants for Blaise Bruno.

Police arrested Mr. Bruno, 36, of Whiffletree Way, and charged him with Beach of Peace 2 and Sexual Assault 4 from an incident stemming back to March 7, 2016 when he allegedly groped a woman at Stop & Shop on West Putnam Ave and “get into her face.”

He was arrested on May 19, 2016, back when he lived on Locust Street, and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Assault on a Victim over 60. In that incident police say they responded to Whiffle Tree Way on a report of a physical fight in which Mr. Bruno grabbed and threw a victim to the ground. Police say the victim had a bruise on the left bicep from the incident.

Back in November 2016 Bruno police say that Mr. Bruno assaulted two victims over the age of 60 and was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to Greenwich Hospital for evaluation and detox.

Mr. Bruno was also charged with several counts of Violation of Probation.

His bond was set at $50,000, which he was unable to post.

He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on July 15, 2020.
