Matthew I Tyrell, 21, of 25 South 10th Ave in the Bronx was arrested by Greenwich Police on May 5 following an incident at the CVS on West Putnam Ave around 3:00pm.
On May 5 Greenwich Police responded to CVS on West Putnam Ave on the report of a person attempting to fill a fraudulent prescription.
After confirmation that the prescription was fraudulent, Mr. Tyrell was placed under arrest.
Mr. Tyrell was charged with Forgery 2, Obtaining a Controlled Substance by Forgery and Criminal Attempt at Possession of Narcotics.
Mr. Tyrell’s bond was set at $500 and he was assigned a court date of May 19 in Stamford Superior Court.
