Around 3:45am on Friday Greenwich Police officers responded to Ritch Ave in Byram on a report of a car crash.
Upon arrival officers noted that the driver and sole occupant of the car that crashed, Roberto Colon Leyva, 33, of Harold Ave in Bridgeport, had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes, and the odor of alcoholic beverages.
Leyva was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard. He was charged with Operating without a License, Failure to Drive Right and DUI.
He was unable to post his $250 bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Nov 15, 2019.
