On Jan 26 Greenwich Police arrested Hernan Morales, 19, of Judge Street in Elmhurst, NY and charged him with Larceny 5 after an incident on Greenwich Avenue.
Police say that on Saturday officers responded to a central Greenwich store after being contact about a suspicious person.
Officers confirmed that the person, Mr. Morales, had taken an Apple iWatch off the counter and concealed it on his person before leaving the store.
Officers located Morales nearby in a car where he was found in possession of the stolen watch.
His bond was set at $240, which he was able to post. He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Feb 11, 2019.
