The area of King Street and Glenville Street over the state line from Greenwich in Rye Brook, NY was closed to traffic on Wednesday following a crash involving three cars and a utility pole. The crash resulted in downed wires.

Greenwich Police Lt Patrick Smyth said in an email to media that due to the Motor Vehicle Crash the area of King St and Glenville St would be closed for an extended period of time.
“This crash involves a utility pole and has some wires down on the roadway. Utility companies have been notified. It is unknown at this time the extent of any injuries the crash jurisdiction is within the Town Rye Brook NY,” Lt Smyth said.
Rye Brook Police posted a traffic advisory on Facebook around 6:00pm saying King Street was closed in both directions at Hillandale Road and Glenville Street due to the motor vehicle accident. They asked drivers to avoid the area.
