Over the snowy holiday weekend, Greenwich Fire Dept responded to numerous accidents.
The Greenwich Fire Dept responded the morning of Sunday, Jan 18 after a car struck a building due to icy and snowy conditions. The crash happened at the corner of Church and William Street.
Greenwich Fire Dept shared photos on social media of the damage to Continental Wine & Spirit, which recently reopened under new management, with a ribbon cutting in mid October.
While there is no snow in the forecast for Tuesday, the Governor has activated Connecticut’s Severe Cold Weather Protocol beginning at 5:00pm on Monday, Jan 19, and remaining in effect until noon on Wednesday, January 21.
While it will be sunny in Greenwich on Tuesday, the high will only be near 22°. On Tuesday night the low will dip to around 12°.
