I95 northbound was closed Tuesday morning just after 11:00am following a crash that backed traffic up more than three miles between exits 5 and 9.
Stamford Fire Dept posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the driver of the dump truck involved in the crash was trapped and required “extended extrication from cab.”
Traffic was diverted off Exit 8.
The crash remains under investigation.
