Hit And Run from 2020 Catches up with Glenville Woman

On Jan 21, Greenwich Police responded to Troop G in Bridgeport to take custody of Greenwich resident Loren Ferraro, 37, on an outstanding arrest warrant stemming back to an incident two years earlier.

In the original incident, which took place around 6:30pm on May 13, 2020, Ferraro allegedly evaded a motor vehicle accident in the vicinity of Glenville Rd and Riversville Road.

Police say she almost struck the other vehicle operator when leaving the scene.

Ferraro had been arrested earlier in the day on Jan 21 by Troop G at her Greenwich residence on two active warrants.

According to Greenwich Police Lt O’Reilly, Ms Ferraro had active warrants with Connecticut State Police, which is why Troop G picked her up at her house to arrest her.

“We had an active arrest warrant for her. When she was done at Connecticut State Police, we picked her up there from them and took her into custody for our arrest warrant,” Lt O’Reilly said.

When Greenwich Police brought Ferraro back to town, she was charged with Driving while Under Suspension, Evading Responsibility/Injury Property Damage, and Reckless Endangerment 1.

Ferraro was released on a Promise To Appear in Stamford Superior Court on Feb 4, 2022.
