Greenwich Woman Who Allegedly Left Children Unsupervised Arrested by Warrant

Greenwich Police were dispatched to Armstrong Court on June 16 on a report of a neighbor dispute. On scene investigation revealed the the reporting party Catherine Lorenzi had an active arrest warrant stemming from an incident on May 17, 2026 in which she allegedly left children unsupervised in a public space.

Lorenzi was taken into custody and charged with two counts of CGS § 53a-64 Reckless Endangerment 2 and CGS § 53-21a(a)(1) Unsupervised Child <12 in Public Place/MV. (Connecticut General Statutes C.G.S. § 53-21a(a)(1) makes it a Class A misdemeanor to knowingly leave a child under 12 years old unsupervised in a public place or motor vehicle for a time that presents a substantial risk to the child’s health or safety).

She was able to post her $50,000 bond and assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on July 1, 2026.
