On Tuesday Greenwich Police arrested a Wilbur Peck woman, Vanessa Starr Jackson, 59, and charged her with Larceny 6 for shoplifting at CVS on West Putnam Ave.
Police say their investigation revealed that Ms. Jackson took several items valued at approximately $130 from the store without paying. The larceny was confirmed by security camera footage. She has a date in Stamford Superior Court on February 6, 2019.
Jackson has an extensive history with GPD.
In June 2017, she was arrested after police responded to Wilbur Peck Court on a report of an assault in which the victim was cut with a knife. The victim received a minor injury. Ms. Jackson was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Assault 2/Weapon, No Gunfire.
In March 2018 she was charged with Larceny 6 and sentenced in July to 90 days jail. For a larceny 6 charge in November 2011 she was found guilty and fined $150.
For Larceny 5 and Breach of Peace charges in August 2009, she was found guilty and sentenced to 6 Months Jail, Execution Suspended, Probation 18 Months.
For Larceny 6 charge in July 2012 she was found guilty in Jan 2014 and sentenced to 2 years jail, execution suspended and two years probation.
In August 2014 she was found guilty of violating her probation and sentenced to 1 year jail.
For a Breach of Peace 2 charge in February 2013 she was found guilty and sentenced to 6 months Jail, execution suspended and probation 2 years but was found guilty of Violation of Probation and Sentenced to 6 months Jail in August 2014.
Another Larceny 6 charge in May 2013 resulted in probation followed by a violation of Probation and 1 year Jail.
