On Nov 18 Police arrested a Greenwich woman for an incident that too place back on Aug 4 on Sheephill Road in Riverside. Police say that they responded to the area of Sheephill and Sound Beach Ave around 10:00pm that night on a report of a vehicle that had crashed into a stone wall.
During the course of the investigation, the arrestee, Janet Lynn Deluca, 56, of Greenwich , was determined to be operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
A search warrant was obtained for access to the arrestee’s hospital blood toxicology results. The results indicated that Ms Deluca had a blood alcohol content of .25. An arrest warrant was issued and Ms Deluca appeared at police headquarters on Nov 18. She was arrested and charged with DUI and Improper Turn.
Deluca was able to post her $5,000 bond and was released. She has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec 3, 2022.
