On Tuesday around 1:00am Greenwich Police were dispatched to Glenville on the west side of town for a report of a past assault at the residence.
While on scene, police determined that Cynthia Ferenz, 59, of Greenwich had used a deadly weapon to assault the victim who sustained serious physical injuries.
Police also determined the victim was over the age of 60, which was reflected in Ferenz being charged with Assault 2nd degree on an Elderly Victim. She was also charged with Disorderly Conduct.
Ferenz’s bond was set at $1,000,000, which she was unable to post. She was assigned a next day appearance at Stamford Superior Court.
