Greenwich Woman Charged for Biting Victim

On Sept 5 around 12:40am, Greenwich Police responded to an address in Byram on a report of a stabbing with minor injuries.

Investigation determined that Yazmin Lopez-Hernandez, 33, of Greenwich had bitten the victim in the chest and caused a laceration to the person’s nose with an unknown object.

Police on the scene were unable to locate a knife and unable to confirm the wound was made from a knife.

Lopez-Hernandez was placed under arrest and charged with Disorderly Conduct.

Her bond was set at $1,000, which she was able to post.

She was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Sept 6.
