A local woman has been arrested repeatedly in recent weeks, starting when Greenwich Police on Nov 9 responded to a report of a possible physical altercation among family members.
Investigation revealed the the offender, Melissa Chalmers Oltran, 54, was heavily intoxicated and had arrived at the residence of the victim earlier in the day. Police determined Ms Oltran stayed at the residence the entire day knowing she knew she was not allowed to be there.
Investigation further revealed she was in violation of a protective order.
On Nov 9 she was charged with Assault 3rd degree/Victim Elderly and Disorderly conduct. According to the CT Judicial Branch website, bond was set at $100.
Then, on Nov 14 she was charged with Violation of Protective Order, a class D Felony. Bond was set at $5,000.
On Nov 15 she was charged with Violation of Protective Order and Violating Condition of Release, both Class D Felonies. Bond was set at $50,000.
According to the CT judicial branch website her next court appearance is on Jan 16, 2025.
