The warrant stemmed from an investigation conducted by the Greenwich Police Dept Special Victims Section into allegations that Ms Lindao had been abusive towards a child under her care as a teacher at the Grace Daycare and Learning Center, a daycare center / preschool, which is located at 2 St Roch Ave in Greenwich.

The allegations were brought to the attention of the Greenwich Police Department after the parents of one of the two-year-old children observed the mistreatment of their child on a live video feed provided to all parents by the facility.

As part of their investigation, Detectives reviewed archived video footage, available for the week prior to the complaint being brought to Police attention.

They located three instances in which Brittany Lindao, by way of her physical treatment of the two-year-old victim in this case did endanger the child’s wellbeing.

While there is no direct evidence that she did, in fact, cause physical injury to the victim, her behavior in all probability would have caused injury to a child of two years.

Lindao was charged with 3 counts of CGS 53-21(a)(1) Risk of Injury to a Child, with a bond that was set by the Court at $100,000.

Lindao was able to post said bond and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Sept 30, 2024.
