Greenwich Police: String of Commercial Burglaries, Stolen New Cars from Dealership

Greenwich Police announced a string of commercial burglaries and an attempted commercial burglary.

First, on June 5 around 3:15am a call was received a from a video monitoring company that subjects were possibly attempting to break into the rear door of a business on Greenwich Ave. Officers arrived very quickly, and no entry was made. The suspects fled in a dark sedan at a high rate of speed and were not pursued. No entry was made. Detectives are investigating.

Second, on June 6 were three commercial burglaries in Cos Cob in the area of the Post Road and Suburban Ave. A small amount of cash was taken from one business. Detectives are investigating.

Third, five new vehicles were stolen from a car dealership on West Putnam Ave at some time over the weekend. Detectives are investigating.
