Greenwich Police Charge Woman with Using Credit Cards Stolen from Car in Riverside

Greenwich Police traveled to Stamford Hospital on Friday after Stamford Police alerted them that a woman with an outstanding arrest warrant was there.

The warrant for Jahnia Robinson, now 19, of Stamford was issued in May and stemmed from an investigation initiated on Jan 26, 2024.

The investigation was into an incident on East Putnam Ave in Riverside that revealed that Ms Robinson illegally entered a vehicle that did not belong to her and took possession of credit cards without the owner’s permission and went on to purchase goods with them.

Robinson was arrested and charged with larceny 6 (3 counts), Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 6, Receipt from Illegal Use of Credit Card (3 counts) and Conspiracy to Commit Receipt from Illegal Use of Credit Card (3 counts).

Robinson’s bond was set at $75,000, which she was unable to post at the time of the arrest. She was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Sept 20, 2024.
