Edwin S Farrington, 23, of 60 Cedar Gate Road in Darien was arrested by Greenwich Police on June 17 following a car crash in the area of Putnam Ave and River Rd Extension in Cos Cob.
Upon investigation, police determined that the driver at fault had left the scene, fleeing south on River Rd.
With the assistance of a witness Police located Mr. Farrington. Upon interview, Mr. Farrington admitted his involvement in the crash and fleeing. He was arrested and charged with Evading Responsibility and Unsafe Movement/Stopped Car.
His bond was set at $250 and he has a court date on July 7, 2016 in Stamford Superior Court.
