On Saturday Greenwich Police bicycle officers and plainclothes units were able to snag a suspect in a bank fraud incident on Greenwich Avenue shortly after it happened.

Police say around 11:40am officers responded to a bank on a report of a fraudulent transaction in progress.

He was charged with Criminal Attempt Identity Theft 3 and Identity Theft 3.

Buddington was unable to post his $5,000 bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on July 19, 2021.
