Greenwich Police Arrest Norwalk Man Who Drove on Putnam Ave with Heavy Vehicle Damage, Flat Tire

Greenwich Police arrested a Norwalk man on Nov 2. Police say that around 8:30am they were dispatched to the area of East Putnam Ave  on a report of a black Chrysler sedan with CT registration traveling east from Whole Foods with heavy damage to the driver’s side, a flat tire and was swerving in and out of the lane.

During the investigation, police said the driver, Terrance Desances, 28, was showing signs of alcohol impairment was was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard.

Mr. Desances was charged with DUI, Reckless Driving and Illegal Operation MV License Class.

He posted the required 7% of his $1,000 bond and was released.

Desances has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Nov 17, 2025.
