On Nov 29 Greenwich Police traveled to the Orange County Correctional Facility at 110 Wells Farm Road in Goshen NY to extradite a man wanted for contractor fraud for an incident that stemmed back to May 31, 2018 on Huntzinger Drive.
Robert Karwowski, 43, of Schoolhouse Rd in Tuxedo Park, NY was charged with Violating Home Improvement Contract Requirements, Offering Home Repair without License, Use of a Fictitious Trade Name and Larceny 1.
Karwowski was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec 14, 2018.
Greenwich Police say they learned of two active warrants for Karwowski out of Manchester, CT and East Hartford, CT.
The East Hartford warrant was confirmed and Karwowski was subsequently turned over to officers of East Hartford Police Dept after he posted his $5,000 bond in Greenwich.
