Greenwich Police arrested an Elmhurst, NY man based on an active extraditable arrest warrant stemming from an arson arrest.
Police learned Angel Aponte, 36, was at Greenwich Hospital on August 22. Upon his discharge he was charged with Fugitive from Justice.
He was processed and assigned a court date in Stamford Superior Court on Sept 5, 2025.
His bond was set at $500,000 which he was unable to post and was placed into a GPD holding cell.
