Greenwich Man Faces Drug Charges, Found in Possession of Oxycodone

 

Intelligence received and corroborated by visual surveillance by the Greenwich Police Dept Narcotics Unit led to the arrest of Joseph Deruvo on Aug 10 in the vicinity of West Putnam Avenue and Josephine Evaristo Ave.

According to Greenwich Police, Deruvo was found in possession of 16 blue round pills stamped A215, which was identified through training and experience and DRUGS.com as Oxycodone 30mg, a Scheduled II Controlled Substance, a narcotic analgesic, which is available only by prescription.

Mr. Deruvo, 55, of 27 Columbus Ave in Greenwich was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession with Intent to Sell. He was released on a Promise to Appear and is schedule in Stamford Superior Court on Aug. 17, 2016.
