Greenwich Man Charged with Violating Protective Order, Trespassing

On New Year’s eve Greenwich Police arrested a man after receiving a tip that two suspicious people were in a private driveway with flashlights in the Glenville-Pemberwick area.

Investigation revealed that one of the two suspects was Arthur Groff, 80, of 66 Caroline Place in Greenwich was subjected to a Full No Contact Protective Order and was trespassing on the property.

He was arrested and charged with Violating Protective Order and Trespassing first degree.

He was assigned the next available date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 4, 2021.

His bond was set at $100,000, which he was unable to post.
