Greenwich Man Charged with Threatening and Breach of Peace after Incident on Mason Street

Greenwich Police responded to a dispute between two men in a parking lot on Mason Street at about 4:30pm on Tuesday.

Upon arrival, the victim related that Adham Elsharkawy was upset that the victim would not let him use his vehicle, and that Elsharkawy had the victim’s passenger door open and was yelling at him in the vehicle and had begun to throw things out of the vehicle into the parking lot. The victim also relayed the as he began to slowly move the vehicle, Mr. Elsharkawy was hitting and kicking it.

According to Police, a witness observed Elsharkawy yelling into the passenger side of the vehicle, reaching into the vehicle and throwing things out of the car and into the parking lot. The witness also observed that as the operator began to slowly move the vehicle Mr. Elsharkawy was yelling, hitting and kicking the vehicle.

According to Greenwich Police, after arresting Elsharkawy, he looked directly at the victim and stated in front of all officers on scene, “I’m going to kill you.”

Mr. Elsharkawy, 29, of 12 West Putnam Ave, Apartment 3E, was arrested for Breach of Peace 2nd degree and Threatening.  He is being held on $5,000 bond. He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Feb 17.
