Greenwich Police arrested a town resident on Oct 2 and charged him with Sexual Assault 1st degree after he turned himself in on an outstanding warrant.
Police say Adan Acevedo Sepulveda’s arrest warrant stemmed from an investigation GPD Special Victim Section detectives conducted after the victim alleged that to have been sexually assaulted by Mr. Sepulveda numerous times in July 2022.
Based on their investigation and DNA evidence gathered from both involved parties, the warrant was approved.
Sepulveda was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on October 16, 2023.
He was released after posting his court set bond of $125,000.
