Jose Viveros, 63, of 100 River Rd in Greenwich was arrested by Greenwich Police on July 1, following an incident in Cos Cob.
Greenwich Police officers were detailed to a report of an unknown disturbance after receiving several 911 calls.
Upon arrival, investigating officers determined that a victim was struck several times in the head by Mr. Viveros using a closed fist.
A sworn written statement was obtained from the victim.
Mr. Viveros did not deny the incident had occurred. He was issued a misdemeanor summons for Disorderly Conduct and released at the scene. He has a court date on July 10, 2017 in Stamford Superior Court.
