Greenwich Police responded around 11:00pm on June 8 to the west side of town on a report of a physical fight.
During the course of the investigation, police determined that the suspect, Carlos Barrenechea, 56, of Greenwich, had grabbed the victim by the shoulders and bit her on the face, causing minor injuries.He was arrested and charged with Assault 3 and Breach of Peace 2.
He was able to post the required minimum 10% of his court set $5,000 bond and was assigned a date in court on June 9.
