GPD: Woman Dancing in the Road Had Arrest Warrants

On June 1 Greenwich Police were dispatched to the area of Greenwich Hospital on a welfare check for a driver who had gotten out of her car in the middle of the road and was dancing.

Police investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Tiffani Lauderdale, 30, of Old Church Road in Greenwich, had an active arrest warrant stemming from evading the scene of an accident and Violation of a Protective order on May 16.

Lauderdale was charged with Violation of Protective Order (Class D Felony), Criminal Trespass 1, and Evading Responsibility.

Her bond was set at $10,000 which she was able to post. She has a date in Stamford Superior Court on July 7, 2021.

Lauderdale has a history of arrests by Greenwich Police Dept. In March 2020 police determined that Lauderdale was the aggressor in a road rage incident involving another woman. The victim was observed to have injuries to her scalp and knees. She was charged with Assault 3 and Breach of Peace 2.

In June 2019, Greenwich Police responded to a report of an altercation between two female suspects at Havemeyer Place. Lauderdale and another woman were both charged with Disorderly Conduct.
