GPD: Man Wanted for Trespass in Cos Cob, Stopped on I95, Flees on Foot

A Stamford man has been arrested by Greenwich Police for charges including Trespassing 1st degree following an incident that originated at a residence on Indian Field Rd in Cos Cob.

Police received a call on Dec 31 around 12:30pm about an unwanted subject in a white van at that location. Police say the suspect, Sebastian Valencia-Osorio, 36, of Stamford, had previously been advised by police that he was not wanted at that location.

By the time police arrived Valencia-Osorio had left but he was located a short time later traveling southbound on I-95.

The arrest report says that while police were making contact with Valencia-Osorio on I-95 he fled the scene on foot, but was apprehended a short distance away.

Investigation revealed that the white van Valencia-Osorio was driving was not registered and did not have proper insurance.

Valencia-Osorio was charged with Interfering with Officer/Resisting, Criminal Trespass 1, Illegal Operation of Motor Vehicle without Insurance, Driving an Unregistered Vehicle.

His bond was set at $500 which he was able to post. He has a date in Stamford Suopeior Court on Jan 8, 2024.
