On March 27 Greenwich Police patrolling Mill Street in Byram spotted a car headed east that was tailgating another vehicle. The vehicle was also unable to maintain its proper lane and was weaving within the lane.
Police stopped the car and while speaking with the driver, Rolman Izaguirre-Ruano, 28, of Stamford, said he had glassy eyes and a “thousand yard stare.”
He was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard and was charged with DUI, Failure to Driver in Proper Lane and Tailgating.
He was released after posting the required 10% of his $250 bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on April 8, 2022.
