On Friday Jan 10 around 3:15pm Greenwich Police say Chet W Quinlan, 37, of Dunn Ave in Stamford turned himself in at police headquarters on an active arrest warrant for an incident on July 29 on Lake Ave.
Police say on that day Quinlan was driving on Lake Ave when his car left the road and struck a street sign and a tree.
Investigation determined Quinlan was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the collision and an arrest warrant was obtained.
Police charged Quinlan with Failure to drive in Proper Lane and DUI. He was released on $5,000 bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 24, 2020.
