GPD Charge Stamford Man with 10 Counts of Violating Protective Order

On July 7 a Stamford man turned himself in at Greenwich Police headquarters on an outstanding warrant stemming from an incident on June 16 in Chickahominy.

Police say the offender, George Vukel, 41, violated a valid Court Order of Protection by sending out electronic communications to the protected party.

The communications occurred over the period of four days. There were 10 separate violations of the order.

Vukel was charged with 10 counts of Violation of Protective Order.

His bond was set at $75,000, which he was able to post. He was assigned the next available court date on July 8, 2022.
