A Bridgeport was arrested by Greenwich Police after an incident this week involving an undercover officer who purported to be a 14-year-old girl from Greenwich willing to engage in sexual activity.
The arrest stemmed from an undercover operation by Greenwich Police special victims section.
According to the arrest report Wilson Picon-Guanoquiza, 42, contacted the undercover officer by cell phone and the two negotiated a price for a sexual encounter.
When Mr. Picon-Guanoquiza arrived at the predetermined location in downtown Greenwich, he was taken into custody.
Picon-Guanoquiza was charged with Criminal Attempt at Illegal Sexual Contact with a victim under 16, Criminal Attempt Sexual Assault 2nd degree, and Criminal Attempt Commercial Sex Abuse of a minor age 15-17.
His bond was set at $250,000 and he has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Aug 11, 2023.
