Four Suspects Face Larceny, Forgery, Identity Theft Charges

Greenwich Police arrested several people for an incident on May 1 in the area of Greenwich Avenue.

According to the arrest reports, Moneisha Sudderah Powell-Porter, 29, of West Orange, NJ; Taron T Loadholt, 24, of Brooklyn, NY; Rahiem Craig Michael Robinson, 19, of Brooklyn, NY; and Catherine S Braimah, 21, of Brooklyn, NY all conspired to Commit larceny on Greenwich Ave.

On May 1 around 5:15pm plainclothes officers observed suspicious activity in the vicinity of the Greenwich business district related to transactions the arrestees engaged in at a local financial institution.

Patrol officers and plainclothes officers working in the area were able to detain and positively identify all four co-conspirators.

Police said their investigation revealed that the suspects were conspiring to fraudulently deposit a counterfeit check for $11,129.16.

The remitter of the counterfeit check was contacted and it was verified that their Personal Identifying Information (PII) had been compromised.

The remitter related that they did not know the arrestees,nor did they issue them a check.

Police said during a search of the vehicle a second counterfeit check was found in the constructive possession of Mr. Robinson.

Powell-Porter was charged with:

Criminal Attempt/Larceny 2
Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 2
Identity Theft 1st degree
Conspiracy to Commit Identity Theft 1
Conspiracy to Commit Forgery 3 (2 counts)

She was released on a promise to appear in court on May 16, 2025.

Mr. Loadholt was charged with:

Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 2
Conspiracy to Commit Identity Theft 1
Conspiracy to Commit Forgery 3

His bond was set at $10,000, which he was able to post. He is also due in Stamford Superior Court on may 16, 2025.

Raheim Robinson was charged with:

Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 2
Conspiracy to Commit Identity Theft 1
Forgery 2
Conspiracy to Commit Forgery 3 (2 counts)
Forgery 3

His bond was set at $50,000, which he was able to post. he shares the May 16 date in Stamford Superior Court.

Ms Braimah was charged with

Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 2
Conspiracy to Commit Identity Theft 1
Conspiracy to Commit Forgery 3

She was released on a promise to appear in court on May 16, 2025.
