Former Stamford Man Extradited, Charged with Sex Assault, Kidnapping

On Monday Grenewihc Police Special Victims Section detectives extradited a former Stamford man from Kansas City, KS.

Henry O Revolorio-DePaz, 27, was charged with Sexual Assault 2 and Kidnapping 2.

Upon his return to Greenwich, he was processed and held on a $250,000 bond. He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Wednesday March 27.

Police say the victim had previously reported to Greenwich Police that on Dec 16, 2018 she had been at a bar in Stamford when she requested transportation home through a ride sharing app.

The woman entered a vehicle believing it to be her requested ride.

The suspect, later determined not to be the driver requested through the ride sharing app, transported the woman to her vehicle in Greenwich.

Before the woman could exit the vehicle, the suspect allegedly sexually assaulted her. After the assault, the woman was able to leave the scene and later reported the incident to Greenwich Police.

Investigators from Greenwich PoliceĀ  conducted a canvass of the area in Stamford and were able to obtain security camera video of the victim entering the suspect’s vehicle.

After sharing information from the investigation with other law enforcement agencies, a suspect as developed form past similar incidents.

The vehicle was identified and its owner was identified as a suspect.

Physical evidence from the scene was forensically tied to the suspect.

An arrest warrant for Revolorio-DePaz was obtained by Greenwich Police. Stamford Police also possess a warrant for Revolorio-DePaz for sexual assault charges form a separate incident.
