Fight in the Kitchen over Food Results in Arrests in Chickahominy

On Sept 21 around 12:30am, Greenwich Police responded to an address on Alexander Street in Chickahominy. Upon arrival a man identified as Manahen Gonzalez, 27, of Alexander Street related that he and Ever Gonzalez, 28, also of Alexander Street had had an altercation involving pushing and shoving.

Manahen eventually said that he had hit Ever who was in the residence and police said was actively bleeding from a minor laceration to the head.

Further investigation revealed that the brothers had had a physical altercation in the kitchen over food, and at some point Ever’s head was cut open.

Police say neither party provided details.

The caller, an occupant of the residence related she observed both brothers pushing and shoving and heard something hit Ever in the head.

The brothers were both arrested and transported to Greenwich Police Dept for processing.

Manahen was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Assault 3. His bond was set at $1,000 and he was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court later the same day.

Ever was charged with Disorderly Conduct. His bond was set at $700. He was also issued a court date the same day of the arrest.
