Early Morning Robbery at Wendy’s Restaurant: Police Seek Tips

Greenwich Police announced that early on Monday, May 23, at approximately 1:50am, two men dressed in black hoodies and masks entered the Wendy’s restaurant on West Putnam Avenue while employees were closing for the night.

Police say one of them brandished a firearm and demanded cash from the manager, at which time an undisclosed amount of cash was given to both subjects.

No one was injured.

The suspects then fled the area.

Employees described the subjects as two black males unknown age wearing all black clothing. No vehicle description at this time.
